labor rights
We help our clients achieve the best outcomes in labor law applications, both judicially and through consensual settlements between owners and workers.
Despite the modernity and quality of the Palestinian labor law, the situation of workers in Palestine is not ideal due to multiple factors, the most significant being poverty, lack of legal awareness, and the insufficient activation of supervisory authorities.
Employment contracts and all work-related matters are governed by the Palestinian Labor Law No. 7 of 2000 and its amendments, as well as Cabinet Resolutions No. 11 of 2012 and No. 4 of 2021 regarding the minimum wage.
Among the most important labor disputes in the private sector are:
1. End of service reward
2. Arbitrary dismissal
3. Overtime hours
4. Work injuries
5. Minimum wage
6. Annual, sick, maternity leaves, and official vacations
How can we help?
Despite the quality of the Palestinian Labor Law, its application on the ground is often weak for various reasons. Therefore, we provide our clients with legal services to help them obtain the rights stipulated in the law through the competent regular courts. Additionally, we offer legal advisory services to our worker clients.
