Palestinian Bar Association Issues Statement Calling for Boycott of Occupation Administrative Courts
The Palestinian Bar Association has issued an official statement urging its members to boycott the administrative courts of the occupation, in alignment with the decision of the Prisoners' Movement. Below is the full text of the statement:
In accordance with the stance of the Prisoners' Movement, which declared a comprehensive, final, and unprecedented boycott of all judicial procedures related to administrative detention—including judicial review, appeals, and the Supreme Court—the Council of the Palestinian Bar Association calls upon all our esteemed colleagues defending our heroic prisoners to adhere to the boycott of the occupation courts and refrain from appearing before them to represent administrative detainees.
Furthermore, the Bar Council reaffirms its continued efforts to collaborate with all lawyers' unions, bar associations, and legal institutions to expose the policy of administrative detention pursued by the occupying state against Palestinian prisoners.
