1- In case of resignation:
Less than 5 years: one-third of the monthly wage for each year of work.
More than 5 years and less than 10 years: two-thirds of the monthly wage for each year of work.
More than 10 years: one month's wage for each year of work.
2- In cases other than resignation: one month's wage for each year of work.
The minimum annual leave is 14 days, and for those who have worked for more than 5 years or work in hazardous fields, 21 days.
Annual leaves, sick leaves, religious and official holidays, bereavement leaves, emergency leaves, and Hajj leave.
Unfair dismissal is when an employer terminates an employee without legal justification, and the legal justifications for dismissal are exclusive cases according to the law.
Two months’ wage for each year the worker has served, provided it does not exceed the total of two years' wages, in addition to other entitlements such as end of service gratuity, leave compensation, etc.
This type of worker is entitled to labor rights according to the Labor Law just like workers on a monthly basis; the difference lies in the method of calculating the labor entitlements.
45 working hours per week including a daily break not exceeding one hour, and it is reduced by one hour daily for night work and hazardous jobs. Anything beyond 45 hours per week and up to 12 hours is considered overtime and must be paid at a rate of no less than 1.5 times the regular hourly wage.
The Palestinian Labor Law exempts workers from any fees related to claiming labor rights, except for claims related to overtime pay.
